Meet Dr. Amika
Dr. Amika hails from Pune, Maharashtra, India, and has dreamed of becoming a dentist ever since she had her first dental fillings at the age of six. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in August 2011 from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
Fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Marathi—with Hindi holding a special place in her heart—Dr. Amika brings warmth and understanding to patients from diverse backgrounds.
In 2012, she moved to Canada, where her passion for dentistry motivated her to complete the rigorous National Dental Examination Board of Canada equivalency process. She has since been practicing in the Niagara region for over seven years.
Dr. Amika is particularly passionate about surgical dentistry. She has completed several advanced courses in surgical wisdom teeth extraction, socket preservation, implant placement, and treatment planning.
Her vision for her practice is simple yet profound: to provide a stress-free dental experience where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make informed decisions.

Dr. Amika is a proud member of the International Dental Implant Association, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and the Niagara Peninsula Dental Association.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their beloved fur baby. She loves watching movies, strength training, and tending to her many rose bushes in the backyard.
Jillian Registered Dental Hygienist
I’m a registered dental hygienist who graduated in 2019, with experience in both periodontal and general practice settings. I focus on evidence-based preventative care, patient education, and providing thorough yet gentle treatment. I’m also committed to supporting clients’ mental well-being by creating a calm, reassuring environment that helps reduce dental anxiety. My goal is to make every appointment comfortable, professional, and centered on long-term oral health.

With over 20 years in the dental field, I began as a Dental Assistant and now proudly serve as Clinic Coordinator at Downtown Dental, ensuring every patient feels comfortable and cared for while maintaining smooth clinic operations. I bring positive energy to foster an uplifting environment for patients and staff. Beyond dentistry, I run Crown Diamond Cleaning and lead Tuma’s Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to community impact. Above all, I’m a devoted wife and mother of three, leading with kindness, integrity, and compassion in every role.

I am proud to help our team and make sure everyone gets good care and feels comfortable. Outside of work, I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, cooking new recipes, and spending quality time with my family, which helps me stay balanced and bring positive energy to the office each day.

Specializing in scheduling, communication, and patient advocacy, I ensure that each individual receives timely information and compassionate care.
