Welcome to Downtown Dental Centre! We’re glad you’ve chosen us as your dentist. Here’s what you need to know about your first appointment.
What to bring
To make your first visit go more smoothly, please bring the following information with you:
- family doctor and specialist’s name along with phone number
- any current dental x-rays from a previous dentist
- medical, allergy, and medication history
- dental insurance card and policy booklet
New patient exam
This is where we get to know you! During your first exam we’ll talk about your dental health and your concerns. We’ll also perform a dental exam to get a better picture of your dental health and identify any areas of concern. Your first exam may also include a set of x-rays.
After the exam, we’ll discuss your dental health and any necessary treatments you may need.
Free Consultations
If you have a question about your dental health we can provide a professional consultation. Consultations are also useful if you are considering using our practice or if you would like a second opinion on a dental health issue. Please contact our front desk for more information.
Financial policy
Payment for treatment is due at the time of treatment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit & most Dental Plans. Payment options for extensive treatment is available should you need it, please speak to our front desk staff when scheduling your appointment.
Insurance
We provide direct billing to all authorized dental insurance plans and accept assignment of benefits. What this means is, if your insurer allows it, you can authorize dental treatment payments directly to us and you would be responsible only for any costs or co-payment your insurer does not cover.
We accept Brock University and Niagara College student dental plans.
